Unlike many other copper kettles currently available in the market, our copper kettle will not need to have any lacquer removed before its first use. To keep it pristine and shiny, see our Product Care Note below and gently clean the copper surfaces at least weekly.
This kettle features our exclusive two-tone harmonica whistle, this kettle doesn’t just whistle – it sings! Like all our standard-size kettles, our copper classic teakettle boasts a functional capacity of 1.8 quarts. Chantal copper teakettles are perfect for all stove tops, INCLUDING magnetic induction. Includes FREE quilted mitt for your convenience. Limited warranty. Hand wash only with gentle soap, not dishwasher safe.
Product Care Note: Just like a shiny new penny the copper finish on this kettle will naturally darken with time and use. It is best not to touch the copper surface directly with your fingers as oils will darken the copper quicker. Many people love the patina, but if you wish to restore a shinier finish try our simple homemade cleaning recipe: Dissolve 1 Tablespoon of salt in 1/4 cup of vinegar. Use a soft paper towel to apply the solution to a small area of the kettle and rinse quickly under running water. Continue until entire kettle is shiny. Pat dry with a soft paper towel. Commercial copper cleaners are too strong for this surface and will damage it so please use our homemade cleaning recipe instead.
